Moved Again to our New Home!!

So on Friday we closed on our New House!!!! I love it. It is so big 3400sq. feet. I am not going to know what to do with all the space!! It of course is a fixer upper, but who does not love Hot Pink Kitchen Cabinets??? The house is great and I can't wait to get to work. Oh wait I already ahve I ripped out 3 rooms of carpet yesterday all by myself!!! Now of course today I am sore. I guess I am getting old. Ava loves the new house and referres to it as teh New House with Stairs. We have never had stairs in any of our houses and so she loves to walk all the way to the top and then slide down on either her hiney or her belly, just depends on what mood she is in. Hopefull we will get her room set up by this weekend. Her room and her playroom are 2 of the rooms that I ripped up carpet in and I need to clean the floors. She started a new school today. I was sad and a little nervous about leaving her. She met a little girl and they ran off holding hands and playing. She would not even tell me by. My baby is such a big girl. Anyway just wanted to update and let you know what we have been up to. Have a Great Monday!!

Moved

This weekend we moved from our house to a rental house. We closed on ours on Friday. It was a little sad to say goodbuy to our house. And now we are in a small house. I mean like 800sq. feet small. So needless to say it is cramped. And we are having Ava's Birthday party there this weekend. I am praying for nice weather!! We found a house that we like and are hopefully going to go look at it again tonight and then make an offer!!!! Will keep you updated.

3 years ago today

Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Baby Girl!!! 3 years ago today at 11:22am God blessed me with the most amazing daughter. She is such a fun, smart, sassy and independant little girl and I could not imagine my life without her. I am truly blessed to be her mommy. SO happy 3rd Birthday Ava Beth. I love you more than words can say. A little side note this morning she told me she was not my baby anymore and that she was a big girl.

Let it Snow

So on Friday we had a snow storm!!! We got to leave work early and Ava's school was closed so I had to go pick her up from MeMe and PawPaw's and then we went home and played in the snow. Here are some pics.

Contract

So I got back from Florida on Wed and then we turned around and went to Sand Diego for a meeting and Jason and Ava went with me. She had a great time on the plane and at the Zoo. I will post pics later. Our house is under contract and we should close on Feb 26th!!!!! So I have tons to do.

Hiking

So on Monday we took Ava hiking at the Moss Rock Preserve. It is a beautiful place. Ava had a lot of fun. She kept saying "Mommy lets go in the bear holes" She was talking about all the holes in the rocks. She and Jason Climed all over and under the rocks. We also hiked to the waterfall. She liked that. She also got haircuto n Friday. It was just getting to long and messy. I think that the new cut looks cute on here and she looks like such a big girl.

Another Year

So on this day 29 years ago my Wonderful and Fantastic mother brought me into this world. Hard to believe that I am now 29 years old and a mother myself to a wonderful little girl. I can't imagine what my mom is thinking that her baby is 29. I am so blessed to have my mother. She is a great mom and I could not ask for a better one. I love you mom and thanks for having me!!

On the Market

So our house went on the market today. SO now the fun begins of looking for a new one and hoping this one sells. Of course if it does not I am fine with that. We have a cute house right now and I would be ok if we had to stay in it. Jason on the other hand can't wait to move and start working on another one. And all this starts 1 month before Ava's 3rd birthday. So I am a little stressed as to where we are going to have her birthday. We always have it at our house, so we will see. I will keep you updated on the situation.

House

So we had a pretty unevertful weekend. We went and looked at a house on Sunday. Jason really liked it. It was cute, needs some work, but I don't think as much as the house we have now had. The realtor is coming out tomorrow to take pictures of our house and get it ready to put it on the market. We will see how that goes. It is still pretty cold here, but starting to get warmer. Ava is being Ava. She is so sweet, I made her a tutu the other day I will try to post a pic. It turned out pretty cute. Thats is for now.

Weather Update

So we did get some snow flurries, but it did not stick. Ava was not happy because she wanted to make a snow man. Then it turned to sleet and Ice and then finally rain and then the temp dropped. It was 17 degrees when I left this morning. It is suppose to be cold through the weekend and then finally get above freezing. I will sure be happy when that happens. I am sick of this cold!! Ok so as I am typing Jason just e mails and it is snowing right now, big fat snowflakes!! I am so confused with this weather, but oh well we will see what happens. Have a great weekend!!

Let it Snow

So today it is suppose to snow. Ava's school is closed so she is here at work with me. I am blessed that I have a job that I can take her to. SO the snow should arrive at around noon. They are predicting about 1-2 inches. We have already ahd 1 snow fall in November of course it does not last long. So we will see. Of course Wal-Mart had no bread or milk yesterday which I find funny, but that is how the south prepares for a storm. Ava asked me this morning if Baby Peyton, who is one of my best friends newest addition, she is 1 week old has a little tiny baby nose. She is just enamored with the little baby. She loves her so much and wants to go see her. We are keeping her for Kelli in Sat. so I am very excited and Ava just keeps telling me that she is going to hold her. She is such a sweet little girl. The things my child says.....

So latelty Ava has been saying all kinds of wierd things. I never know what is going to come out of her mouth. As most of you know she is VERY talkative. So last night she did not want to go to bed and she was sitting with me watching TV and she says"Mommy I have gas so I can't go to bed right now". Jason and I started laughing. She never ceases to amaze me. The other night she was in our bed, because she had been sick and wanted to sleep with us and Jason said what is this little girl doing in my bed. She said "Daddy there is just to much crap in my room to sleep in there". Whenever I have a bad day all I have to do is look at this sweet little girl and be so thankful that God blessed me with her and chose me to be her Mommy.

New Year

Hi Ya'll,

Well Jason started out the New Year by shaving off his beard! We have been together almost 9 years and I have never seen him without facial hair. So it was quite a shock. He had been growing out his beard and it had gotten pretty long. I personally like facial hair. Ava was not sure what to think of her Daddy. She kept asking him if he could put his beard back on. I am going to add a pic. Today it was 15 degress when I left the house for work! This weather is reminding me of my days growing up in Alaska and I can say that I am not fond of it. There is a reason that I moved to the south and that was for the warm weather. So I am ready for this cold to leave, but it is not going anywhere for the week and they are saying we are suppose to get snow of Friday! We will see. Have a great day!

Winter in Alabama

Hi All,

So our winter so far has been quite warm. This morning when I left for work it was 20 degrees!!! It is only about 30 right now and the wind chill is very cold. Ava was not to happy to get out in it this morning to go to school. This is very chilly for Alabama and it is suppose to last all week:(

So I thought that I would start doing this as a way to keep up with friends and family. Since we are so far away and spread out. I hope that I can keep this up. But it should be a fun way to keep ya'll up to date on our lives!
